I was not making allmost 1/48 plastic models at the time of my twenties.
However, I started the maiking of a model again at the time of appearance of this trimaster`s Fw109A-8 kit that came out in 1988 . I was thirty years old in 1988, and deeply sutisfied in maiking of this kit. Then I think I am real modellar ,again. So, this kit is a monument for me.Tri`s Fw190A designed based on the drawing of Mr. Koichiro Abe, can still be called first-class , except some points.
I think that TAMIYA`s Fw190A/F will looks like a child's toy if it arranges beside the kit of a trimaster, although TAMIYA`s was designed even if according to the actual measurement.
I love Fw190,and I love Tri`s Fw190 too.
これはグラフ機よりずっと前、トライマスター初版発売時ですから、８０年代の終わりです。こんな旧作を恥も外聞も無く掲載したのは、ずっとそれまで４８未完成病だった私が、このキットのおかげで前線復帰できた記念碑的な存在だったからなんです。このキットが無ければ私は今もうプラモデルを作ってはいなかったかもしれません。スタートこそ「遅れてしまった」けれど、今に至るまでまがりなりにも私をモデラーでいさせてくれた、恩人なのです。このトライのキット、作りにくいと言われますが、金型自体の精度は大変いいはずです。肉が薄く、カウリングも細かく分割されているので、組むときに変形しやすいだけなので、「キットが悪いんじゃない、組む自分が下手なのだ。」と呪文を唱えながら、入念に摺り合わせをし、内部にシムを入れまくれば、ちゃんとエンジンを包んだ感じが再現された、雰囲気たっぷりのフォッケが出来上がります。悪いけど、並べてしまうと新しいタミヤのフォッケは、おもちゃ然として見えてしまいます。しかしながら、キットは最高に良い出来なのに、私の仕上げはそりゃあトホホです。しかもダールに髭が生えてない！
